20×4 Character LCD Display, This 4 line, 20 character wide LCD display has a standard HD44780 compatible 4-bit/ 8-bit parallel interface. The text color is white on a dark blue background. The backlight consists of blue LEDs, and the display is visible and readable even in bright rooms. The LCD runs from 5VDC. All pins are accessible from 0.1″ spaced solder pads/holes; our single-row 0.1″ spaced header strips fit this module nicely, but ribbon cable or small gauge wire can also be soldered directly to the solder pads. 4 mounting holes (one in each corner) fit #6 screws.
